Hefeweizen Time

It’s been another busy week and the Mole is looking at more coding duties over the weekend in order to get CrazyIvan ready for its beta phase. I know it’s been a long time coming but I’m pretty certain you’ll love what we’ve cooked up for you guys. I didn’t see any setups worth pursuing ahead of July but the Dollar has been climbing and is now back on our radar:

You’ve got to hand it to ole’ bucky – it is persistent, even in the face of Bernanke’s unrelenting printing presses. Somehow it managed to bounce off of its 100-month SMA and we’re not back at the diagonal wall of shame, which for the past five [...]

Friday Morning Briefing

Welcome to our morning briefing. Here we are reviewing short term setups ahead of the NYSE opening bell. If you are a scalper or swing trader then these setups may be of interest to you. EUR/USD attempting to [...]

Well, guess what – apparently the bad boy buy bots are now having their turn – as a matter of fact they appear to have been rather active for the past three days. Take a look at the chart above where I highlighted the days when selling pressure was constant with very minor intra-day [...]

Thursday Morning Briefing

Welcome to our morning briefing. Here we are reviewing short term setups ahead of the NYSE opening bell. If you are a scalper or swing trader then these setups may be of interest to you. As usual keep in mind that these are short term setups although they could be used as early entries for more longer term positions.

No major drama overnight, the spoos keep clinging to that 25-hour lifeline which is now slowly driving the tape higher. Good inflection point right now before the open as we’ve got a cluster of NLSLs terminating near 1596 – I would be short below that and long above 1599.

The Euro has been strengthening except against the Dollar [...]
