    I'm seeing the spreadbets on both indices climbing nicely in AH. 9835/1050 quoted at present.

    Anyone got any news at all that could explain the late day dump?

    Think we still might see 60's by Friday. If this is B and we get some weakness on the open might be tracking for a long, possible inv H+S building out that should get busted but from higher!

  • Careful here - EURUSD not confirming the enthusiasm of the indexes and SPY is camped on the 50% retrace of the move from the bottom.

    Earlier this week I said that the tides have turned. In July/August, we sold off in the morning only to be met with a rally in the afternoon. Now we are seeing rally in the morning and sell offs in the afternoon.

    I do not think they are going to let any of the major indexes close red I expect a nominally green EOD.

    Prechter just on CNBC- sees a 1 to 2 year dollar rally ahead... that fit's Roubini's assumption, looks like they're on the same page...

    Maybe, maybe not! I think Prechter is calling for a rally in the buck starting soon. Roubini seems to indicate it may be 6 months to a year off:

    true, their timing is different. Roubini was saying the bubble could last awhile longer...
    I side with Prechter, think the buck has bottomed, though maybe a retest... Longer term they are on the same page

    I'm similar, I've been holding for some time now, but had left orders in at 9950-10k. They didn't get filled but so be it. I got some done at 9915 and those SPY puts recommended by BErk are working a treat.
