Friday Morning Briefing

Welcome to our morning briefing. Here we are reviewing short term setups ahead of the NYSE opening bell. If you are a scalper or swing trader then these setups may be of interest to you. As usual keep in mind that these are short term setups although they could be used as early entries for more longer term positions.

Unlike yesterday there’s not much that tickles my fancy this morning. The E-Mini is actually one of the more salient setups as it has given up a few handles overnight and is now about to touch its 100-hour SMA. Let’s see if we see signs of buying interest near 1504.25.

NQ looking similar but is actually already below its own 100-hour. I’m currently short with a stop above.

EUR/CHF back at its 25-hour – based on prior observation this appears to be a good spot to be long.

EUR/USD back at its lower 100-hour Bollinger – which is still pretty level. I am not long here yet as I would prefer to see a green candle or two first – some signs of a possible interim floor.
