Yesterday afternoon I was fiddling around with my Net-Lines indicator to sort out the kinks and to get it to work just the way I want it. Frankly it’s a lot of fun and quite liberating not having to draw those damn lines on my charts by hand anymore, which is as you can imagine quite time and labor intensive (plus easy to get wrong).
Now it goes without saying that I would never draw Net-Lines on a 60-min chart – I simply don’t have the time. But now that it’s automated the sky is the limited. When I popped it up on my 60-min EUR/USD chart I noticed that NLSL that had been breached. Well, as you can see – the rest is history – what a ride down!
As you all know Chris Carolan is the one who came up with the concept and I liked it right from the get-go. I believe he uses some sort of Keltner channel to project targets and reversals – I myself prefer my trusted dual Bollinger pair. Either way – having finally coded this thing in NinjaTrader opens up the door to all kinds of shenanigans but I would like to get some input from my trusted stainless steel rats on what you guys want to see.
Alright, I’m going to poke around and post an update in a little bit.
