Inside Day Roll Call

Inside Day Roll Call

by The MoleMarch 21, 2012

Alright, it’s time to mix things up a little. We got ourselves a plethora of inside days today, so try to look busy. If you’re a noob here and are confused about how to trade inside days then look no further than our Evil Speculator Cheat Sheet.

Let’s start with the easy stuff – inside day on the SPX – when watching the spoos overnight for an early trigger bear in mind that fair value is around -5.9 right now, to make things easier let’s round it up to -6.

So the equivalent values to watch on the spoos here are 1401.75 and 1394.75. Since the Mole loves you I have marked it for you on our Net-Lines treasure map. I like it how the NLBLs line up with the inside day bullish inflection points – how convenient 😉

But I’m just getting warmed up – inside day on crude futures (use the front month contract – also applies to futures shown below).

Inside day on gold futures – I’d love to see a continued drop but take what I get.

Silver – yes, inside day (in case you wonder – that new candle is AH candle of the new 3/22 session).

Copper – yes, inside candle – are we spoiled or what?

Now, I could have left it at that but decided to go prolific and start a stocks scan as well. And these are not just low volume symbols – this is off my personal list of favorite stock symbols – most of them are optionable. Roll up your sleeves – we’ve got work to do!

Citigroup.

Alpha Natural Resources.

Peabody Energy.

CSX Corp.

Abbot Labs.

Adobe.

Ciena – an old time favorite. Used to play that one a lot with Berk (anyone remember him?)

Cabot Oil.

Boeing.

Cadence Design.

Celgene. A bit of indecision here – could translate into a nice move.

I reckon this’ll keep you guys busy for a while. Here’s the symbol list if you want to import it into your charting app:

SPX, /CL, /GC, /SI, /HG, C, ANR, BTU, CSX, ABT, ADBE, CIEN, COG, BA, CDNS, CELG
