Welcome to our morning briefing. Here we are reviewing short term setups ahead of the NYSE opening bell. If you are a scalper or swing trader then these setups may be of interest to you. As usual keep in mind that these are short term setups although they could be used as early entries for more longer term positions.
Equities are looking solid this morning. After a little down drift overnight we touched the 25-hour on the E-Mini and immediately bounced back. Since the 25-hour has not been observed for a few days this is exciting news for anyone holding long since last Friday (which is us).
Same pattern on the YM – again the 25-hour seems to be observed.
And on the NQ – very clean touch and jump higher. This is a good first step, but it’s still early – let’s see if our equities trifecta continues to observe its short term support. BTW, the TF is not part of the gang today – it failed its SMA and is stuck somewhere in limbo right now.
