I just know how you feel. Finally – it’s all done and over with. No more gift wrapping – no more jolly holiday music. No more rushing out during your lunch break to smack it down with some fat sweaty housewives in over stretched lululemons over some damn plastic toy on your kid’s wish list. And most of all – no more of those nauseating holiday commercials. Believe it or not but my wife’s chihuahua is perfectly happy without that diamond encrusted choker necklace.

At last – we have survived another holiday season. I personally feel cleansed and I finally can look forward to at least ten months without having to endure any mentioning of Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa or whatever bloody excuse for pimping useless junk they’ll come up with next. I’ve done my part folks – and I’m done being nice and jolly. The Mole is pumped and ready to inflict some pain!

Now if you’ve been paying attention then 2013 was an excellent year for you. We all worked hard and it paid off in spates – it’s been fun and we literally laughed all the way to the bank. I have big plans for 2014 and I expect it to be an exciting and of course profitable year. And there is much to look forward to – I am especially jazzed about finally releasing Heisenberg into beta. It’s been six months in the making and I frankly think it’s a game changer. But you will be the judge this time. As you know it’s been released into beta and you can expect to receive your first alerts in the coming days as the charts start picking up momentum. I do not expect to turn it into a pay2play service unless I see it bank some very mighty coin.

Now remember, you’re only as good as your last trade – so let’s get our heads back in the game!

Now that doesn’t mean I want you to start loading up on symbols left and right. The holidays always produce gaps and jumps due to low participation and plenty of monkey business courtesy of the junior crew holding down the fort. Now that the grown ups are back in town we should take it easy for a day or two and gauge where the tape wants to lead us this January.

The spoos have been touching the 100-hour and so far it’s been holding up. The TF, YM, and NQ are in similar configurations near either their respective 25-hour or 100-hour SMAs. I’m not eager to jump into any positions here – let’s watch the tape for a day or two and wait for a more pronounced patterns to emerge. It’s easy to let your mind fill in the gaps so to say. You want to start the year kicking ass and taking numbers. But it’s the tape that’s directing the pace – not me and not you.

The USD/CAD looks pretty decent here. Since I took this snapshot it actually managed to breach the NLBL and the 100-hour. Then it pulled back right away, so this is definitely acting as resistance.
