Quick Post FOMC Update

Every month we have to endure thy holy entrails reading courtesy of the Federated Oracle Market Cult. It’s a completely wasted session and I wish they would just get it over with and announce that the procedure was a total success but that the patient had died a long time ago. But alas – this is not ZeroEdge and if smoke and mirrors is what we’ll live by that’s just fine by me. I just work here and after me the flood as they say – yes, I’m a capitalist prick (not really but I hate therapists and it’s a fun persona if you’re running a financial blog).

Many of the morning setups didn’t move and the forex side was rather disappointing. So let’s focus on the productive ones. I posted about the NQ earlier but the spoos is where I want to be long now with a stop below the hour SMA.

ZT – 2-year note futures – that’s some massive candle boner™ action here and we can count another perfect entry notch. I’m holding this sucker as it just managed to bust through the 100-day SMA and a daily NLBL. Let’s see if we can run this puppy higher.

ZB – 30-year bond futures – not as ambitious as the ZT but I’m grabbing 1/4R here right now.

Silver – I’m also grabbing 1/2R here with a stop below today’s lows.

That’s it – I’m not grabbing any other positions here for the day. I want the tape to work itself through the obligatory follow up rumors and mental masturbations before I dip into any new setups.
