Welcome to our morning briefing. Here we are reviewing short term setups ahead of the NYSE opening bell. If you are a scalper or swing trader then these setups may be of interest to you. As usual keep in mind that these are short term setups although they could be used as early entries for more longer term positions.
Quite a bit more fun to be had this morning – let’s start with the spoos which just popped above its 100-hour SMA and a brand new hourly NLBL at 1548.75. Looking good to go right now for the NYSE session – so keep an eye on the 1548 mark which should be today’s bull/bear inflection point. BTW, the YM is looking almost indentical.
NZD/JPY – looking forward to a possible last kiss goodbye here – conveniently we’re also getting a NLBL here at 78.699.
Copper touching its 25-hour which is starting to flatten out – tepid attempt at building a floor here obviously. Let’s see if it succeeds.
