UPDATE 3:00pm EDT: Ladies and leeches, allow me to present exhibit A:
I hear that CAL is the biggest carrier to Mexico (have not verified that but sounds about right). So, if you took that recent consolidation as a sign of weakness and loaded up on puts you probably found your rectum violated Tudors style (whoever saw the last episode knows what I’m talking about). Ouch…
This is why we don’t trade the news, rats! As a matter of fact – had I seen this chart a few days ago (which to my chagrin I didn’t) I would have been very tempted to go long with some lottery tickets as the previous spike looks like a clean motive wave.
UPDATE 3:03pm EDT: I have not even watched this yet but KNOW it’s going to be good – LOL:
I’m actually surprised they didn’t kick Santelli of CNBC yet – everyone else with an IQ higher than their shoe size has been led to the guillotine in the past few years.
UPDATE 3:39pm EDT: We turned the corner once more – we are now above VWAP and if the bulls can hold that line in the next 10 minutes we might see a rally into the close. Looks like the obligatoy re-test is already in the works. Odds are still horrible – I’m not playing this.
