Please Stay Off The Black Piste

Our previous gold campaign ended yesterday and so did yours if you followed my advice to advance your trailing stop to somewhere below 1355. However if you did not you then may want to check your trading account as the non-farm payroll numbers just dragged it to the woodshed for an extended session of rectal probing.

And that’s a dirty rotten shame as the formation would have represented a brilliant entry opportunity. But alas it wasn’t to be and we should consider ourselves lucky that we enjoyed some of the ride higher.

Yesterday’s NQ campaign however is loving it as it just jumped higher and is now trading quite a few handles above our final hurdle at 4451.5. If it manages to close the week above that one it would be a solid Net-Line buy signal and that’s a pretty nice way of heading into another summer weekend.

The USD/JPY managed to shake us out yesterday, and is of course now trading higher. But our AUD/USD campaign was a bit luckier as we missed two stabs lower by a matter of a few pips. It’s looking very good now and I would suggest you put your stop near break/even below 0.75.

And that’s all I got for you guys today. It’s been another good week for us and now it’s time to crack open a chilled bottle of our favorite Bavarian social lubricant. I’m trying to get into Spanish beer and it ain’t bad, but nobody beats the Germans when it comes to football brewing alcoholic malt beverages.
