Long Symbol Roll Call
Long Symbol Roll Call
I’m digging around in my basement for some long setups. I have a feeling that delta neutral may be the way to go for the next few days. Alright let’s work ourselves through the alphabet – first two below and I will update this post with more as I find them – please reload every 10 minutes or so.
And before I forget it – here’s a little tribute to Theodore Maiman – he would be so proud to see his invention in such capable hands (wipes away tears):
Here we go:
AMLN – if it stops falling it should happen around here. Planning to go long at 16.75 – not a tick higher 16.5 would be ideal. Set a tight stop – will ya?
ANR needs a hug – long entry now. I think it either stops right here or will auto-destruct after passing the prior low. If you are really generous with your stop wait until 36.75 but things may get dicey down there.
Update on GMCR, which suddenly fell off the plate today – no idea why. Got out with small profits after getting an almost ideal entry last week at the diagonal. I know what you are thinking and I advise against it. That diagonal may or may not hold – my momo indicators are not supportive right now so I suggest you let her go.
NVDA is all beaten up – that was quite a drop – wow. The idea here is that this line must hold otherwise we’re seeing 11.5 in a jiffy. I would not get in right now – wait for a retest – obviously we just arrived here – be patient. If you go long then don’t be too generous with your stop – maybe 12.30.
When parsing through my scans I kept seeing a lot of the same type of setups. A lot of diagonal trend lines have been breached this month – something’s definitely up. There are old support lines which should kick in here but I fear it’s only a little reprieve on the way down. Regarding any of the symbols I posted above – take out only small positions. The risk appears to be to the upside and this is only to balance things out for us a little.
What do the rest of you think? Have you gone through your favorite’s list lately? Anything significant you see?
Cheers,
Mole
