Santa’s In The House!
Santa’s In The House!
Santa apparently came early this year and he’s ready to play! I hope you haven’t been naughty and stuck with our script or he may be paying you a special reeducation visit. Alright we’ve got setups setups setups! Equities seem to have held up well overnight and we seem to be on course for a continued squeeze higher.
The only fly in my ointment was the rather marginal Zero signal post FOMC announcement. Clearly very few players were participating ahead of time but I would have expected a bit more juice there an hour or so after the verdict. But let’s not jump to conclusions just yet – we’ll be monitoring the situation today and tomorrow and if it looks like this ramp is running on fumes then I’ll be the first to concoct an evil scheme to take advantage.
Nice context developing on the daily and hourly chart. The hourly needs to hold its 25-hour SMA today or we may get a little dip lower. Which I wouldn’t mind at all as it would server well for a good old BTFD. However if you’re still long from the lows then I recommend you keep your hands off and simply trail your stop – below 2055 seems like a a reasonable distance away with enough support above.
I have been getting kicked out of two small bond campaigns in the past week but the context is looking good again. The ZF is a long here with a stop below 118’080.
I’m splitting my exposure with the ZN – stop here near 125’240.
AUD/USD – long here with a stop below the 100-hour BB. This one could resolve lower and I may be interested in flipping. If that happens I’ll revisit.
AUD/CHF – if you grab both pairs please split your exposure. Long here near 0.714 with a stop below 0.712.
More setups below the fold – pleas step into my lair:

Have fun but keep it frosty – which should be easy since we’re a few days away from winter. For what it’s worth, I can’t wait for the winter solstice as the sun here in Europe goes down only a few hours I fall out of bed now. Scott – I’m moving into your guest closet for the winter.
Cheers,
