Welcome to our morning briefing. Here we are reviewing short term setups ahead of the NYSE opening bell. If you are a scalper or swing trader then these setups may be of interest to you. As usual keep in mind that these are short term setups although they could be used as early entries for more longer term positions.
The E-Mini still in sideways mode but it has now accumulated a bit more Net-Line context I plan to leverage. See the triggers on the chart – in between we’re somewhat in limbo. On the long side it’s permissible to get exposed now with a stop below 2067.25. FYI – if we get a short trigger I’d be very nimble as the downside seems limited to me – at least as of right now.
Copper – 1/2R long here with a stop below 2.273 – I definitely like the daily context but it’s still early days as the 100-day SMA is still falling and will probably need another week or so to stabilize.
