Welcome to our morning briefing. Here we are reviewing short term setups ahead of the NYSE opening bell. If you are a scalper or swing trader then these setups may be of interest to you. As usual keep in mind that these are short term setups although they could be used as early entries for more longer term positions.
Nothing of short term interest on the equities side this morning. However it’s the bonds you should be looking at – here’s the 10-year futures contract which has reached the tipping point of an SMA wedge I have been following for a day or so. Resolution here is imminent and I intend to be on the side of whatever is being breached. My favorite setup of the day and I must be nuts to just give it away! 😉
Second runner is the ZB (30-year) which is lagging behind a little but should come into focus either today or tomorrow.
GBP/AUD at its 25-hour SMA and is also facing two NLBLs – I think the setup here is pretty clear.
