Slow Friday Morning Briefing
Slow Friday Morning Briefing
Welcome to our morning briefing. Here we are reviewing short term setups ahead of the NYSE opening bell. If you are a scalper or swing trader then these setups may be of interest to you. As usual keep in mind that these are short term setups although they could be used as early entries for more longer term positions.
Not seeing much of interest on the setup front this morning. It’s summer after all and the weekend is almost upon us – so let’s take care of business and then head for the nearest beach (or lake if you live inland) 😉
Copper is my favorite setup at the moment – great reversal from the lower BB and it’s now attempting to overcome an hourly NLBL, which in my not so humble opinion should determine the rest of the session. Good setup.
If you caught yesterday’s post then you know the overall outlook remains to be bullish (much to my chagrin as I earn in Dollars and spend in Euros). At the moment however it’s trying to figure out what comes next as there’s a weekly NLBL in the way. The chart above shows us the hourly picture which reveals us a pretty solid 100-hour SMA and a tightly compressed Bollinger. I suggest you keep watching this chart for signs of a break out as what comes next may be big (and fast).
