Thursday Morning Briefing
Thursday Morning Briefing
Welcome to our morning briefing. Here we are reviewing short term setups ahead of the NYSE opening bell. If you are a scalper or swing trader then these setups may be of interest to you. As usual keep in mind that these are short term setups although they could be used as early entries for more longer term positions.
Unfortunately the RTV-S on the daily seems to be dying a slow death as a strong buyer has positioned himself near the 3030 mark (easy number to remember I guess). Well, we do have an inside day entry and that’s what I would focus on right now. Of course there is no reason to abandon any short positions until our 3,057.25 stop has been touched. One trade at a time. Of course 3,057.25 is also our long trigger. You can also play the hourly via the 100-hour, which continues to be retested – but once again that buyer at 3030 seems to be determined to keep a lid on any bearishness.
On the YM we do actually have a daily Net-Line Sell Level (NLSL) breach. But I have an inkling that the 25-hour and thus the NLSL will be retested again today.
