Welcome to our morning briefing. Here we are reviewing short term setups ahead of the NYSE opening bell. If you are a scalper or swing trader then these setups may be of interest to you. As usual keep in mind that these are short term setups although they could be used as early entries for more longer term positions.
In case you care – good news – the Mole is still alive and kicking. Like weed I’m hard to kill (but easy to smoke). The chart above answers any questions you should have on our current YM campaign. Looks like they’re testing the weak hands. We had no excuse to close out at 1R as we missed the mark by one measly tick. That is if we add one to the top bottom of the previous candle – well, we do – so get over it. Our stop remains where it is – we’ve got a pretty good buffer, so let’s see where this one takes us.
A lot of nice action on the FX side this morning – here’s the USD/CAD which is retesting its 100-hour. I’m planning on a long above the NLBL and 25-hour SMA near 1.094.
