Over the past few months I kept receiving a slew of emails asking me when to finally expect the release of the promised Options 301 course. Don’t get me wrong I have no issues selling you courses, especially as the feedback for 102 and 201 had been resoundingly positive. Truth of the matter is that I have been bogged down with a number of deliverables and you probably also recall that I continue to battle an ongoing health issue. You know – 2020 in all its glory.
That said, it’s mid July – judging by the crickets in the comment section most of you guys are on vacation – and it seems I’m finally fresh out of excuses. So instead of wasting more time reporting on sideways summer tape I have decided to take this week off and instead spend my time working on my long overdue Options 301 course.
While Options 101 guides you through the basic concepts of options trading, Options 201 focuses primarily on vertical and calendar spreads, both of which are considered the basic building blocks of any options strategy you will ever employ. If you have not absorbed the material already then I strongly recommend you purchase both courses now as they are a hard prerequisite for Options 301 and beyond.
Building on what you have already learned Options 301 will introduce you the butterfly and iron condor – two closely related and widely misunderstood strategies Tony and I use on a daily basis for trading expected move probabilities as well as ahead of earnings announcements. It’s not one to be missed, especially if you enjoyed the first two courses.
I can’t guarantee I’ll be done by next week but I promise to make good use of the time. See you next Monday.
