Those damn market makers know that the VIX is like cryptonite to us bears – and especially during OPX week they play this little game without compunction.

VIX is the ticker symbol for the Chicago Board Options Exchange Volatility Index, a popular measure of the implied volatility of S&P 500 index options.
I get it – the rules have changed – volatility now drops with the market – it’s a whole new ball game…
