Channel Du Jour

UPDATE 12:07pm EDT: Sorry if I cannot participate in my usual capacity – I have been programming like a mad codemonkey for the past few days. Yesterday night I decided to write my own SMS library in C# and was able to successfully import it into NinjaTrader this morning. Yes, I rule and that decade slaving as an IT worker drone does pay off every once in a while. I’m getting the hang of this shit – C# is not that different from Java after all (which I was hacking for 12 years). Anyway, I only have some DB code left to write and then we should be close to ripping the lid off of evil.rat 🙂

But I don’t want to let you guys hanging, so here’s a little bone for you rats. Nice little daily channel and if we’ll see a break out I think we need to breach the upper line with some confidence. We are currently slightly above VWAP on the ES (i.e. 829.5) and above VWAP on the NQ (i.e. 1301). NQ has been leading as of late, so I think there’s a chance we bust higher here. But I only care casually as I’m not exposed to either side.

Gold gave back its early gains – now, that’s what I’m talking about. 900 here we come! (hopefully)

UPDATE 1:18pm EDT: FujiSan just emailed me her latest spread tutorial. Remember, she graciously volunteered to share regular treatments of her option spread magic – I plan to call her series ‘FujiSan’s Naughty Spreads’ – hehehe 🙂

Anyway – I plan to post it on Saturday morning – this’ll give you rats something to chew on while you eagerly await my Sunday post.
