Welcome to our morning briefing. Here we are reviewing short term setups ahead of the NYSE opening bell. If you are a scalper or swing trader then these setups may be of interest to you. As usual keep in mind that these are short term setups although they could be used as early entries for more longer term positions.
Equities still bleeding this morning – here’s the E-Mini which attempted an SMA breach on Friday but it all fell apart. Right now things are not looking much rosier as our lottery tickets are still producing with prices pinned below the 25-hour. Let’s see what happens as the session open draws near.
Gold retesting the 25-hour this morning – I deem it to be soft support given the Thursday drop through both the 25-h and 100-h. I’ll try a long here while it remains above the SMA – would be short below 1,369.
