Welcome to our morning briefing. Here we are reviewing short term setups ahead of the NYSE opening bell. If you are a scalper or swing trader then these setups may be of interest to you. As usual keep in mind that these are short term setups although they could be used as early entries for more longer term positions.
We have a TON of setups today so I’ll have to run through them quickly. Here are ZB futures (30-year bonds) right at their 100-hour. Great inflection point and I’m long with a stop right below this candle’s low. Happy to flip if I get stopped out – nothing but air below.
Gold! approaching the 100-hour, or should I say it’s the SMA that’s approaching a sideways churn? Well, it’ll have to jump the fence or fall further – I’m happy to take either direction. Wait for a touch!
The best setups are in FX today (again) – great context here on CAD/CHF. I take either Net-Line breach – both are straddling the SMA.
AUD/JPY – the long side seems easier to me here.
